What we keep, and why

Who we are

NOON is a café at 2426 Blaisdell ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403. This policy covers our website, our iPhone and Android app, and the ordering, loyalty and NOON Card services inside them. Questions go to thenuuncafe.com.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address, the name you give us, and, if you choose to share it, your birthday (so we can give you a birthday drink). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google and nothing else.
• Guest orders. A name and an email so we can hand you the right cup and send the receipt. Guest accounts with no orders are deleted automatically after seven days.
• Orders. What you ordered, when, what it cost, and how you paid. We keep order records because we have to account for every sale.
• NOON Card and loyalty. Your stored balance, every reload and spend as a ledger entry, your stamps, and any free-drink rewards.
• Notifications. If you turn on push notifications in the app, a device token that lets us tell you when your order is ready. Turn it off in the app or your phone settings at any time.
• Technical records. Standard server logs (IP address, time, what was requested) and short-lived rate-limit counters that protect the service from abuse.
• The concierge. If you ask the in-app concierge a question, the messages in that conversation.

What we never collect

We never see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by Stripe, and only Stripe holds your card details. We run no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no social-media pixels on the site or in the app. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How we use it

To make your drink and tell you when it is ready, to keep your NOON Card balance and stamps right, to send receipts and the occasional letter you asked for, to answer concierge questions, to suggest drinks you might like based on your own past orders, and to keep the service safe.

Who handles it for us

• Stripe processes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments under its own privacy policy.
• Supabase hosts our database and sign-in.
• Vercel hosts this website.
• Expo delivers push notifications to the app.
• Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha may run a bot check when you sign in.
• Our own servers run the concierge. Your questions are answered by models we host ourselves; they are not sent to an outside AI provider. Drink suggestions may use a model API with your order history only, never your name or contact details.

Cookies

The website sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your theme choice. There are no tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Your account for as long as you keep it. Guest accounts without an order for seven days. Rate-limit counters for a day. Order and NOON Card ledger records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after the account they belonged to is gone.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, any time, from the Account screen in the app or on your account page on the website. Deletion removes your email, name, birthday and notification token, signs you out everywhere, and closes the account for good. If you have ever placed an order, the order and ledger records stay in our books without your name attached, because we are required to keep them; if you never ordered, the whole account is erased. An order in progress or a remaining NOON Card balance has to be settled first: spend the balance, or write to us and we will refund it.

Children

The app and website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date above moves and we say so in the app. Continued use after a change means the new policy applies.
